Grief writing - Entry 7
Found-word poetry is a creative practice in looking through pages of a book, magazine, or newspaper and scanning for single words or phrases to later put together in a found-word poem.
What I see in what I found below, is a little about who I used to be as a part of the natural birth community, a little about my midwives, and a little about what I've done with telling my story inside a bit of an echo chamber.
I didn't add any of my own words.
Certain images come to mind.
Ambassador for a home-growing system.
Helping develop people.
Convert the nursery. Convert it to a pretty.
Afraid of just about everything.
Support keeping safe and sane.
Does not like that.
Might be behind it.
"We're assisting them."
All of these incidents aside, I think there's reason to be hopeful.
While there's extreme hatred in our community, I created something positive out of something negative.
It's human nature to lash out.
When instead one can step back, they realize they don't want to be part of the problem, they want to be part of the solution.
