Vitamins & Supplements Part 1


I will admit it, I'm kind of a supplements junkie. I'm intrigued by the ability to add in amino acids and other vitamins and minerals that I don't receive from my food on a regular basis. I also don't always get as many vegetables as I should, so I feel comfortable supplementing because I am trying to balance my food choices with the amazing options I have for supplementation. Plus, some really great companies are providing some very nutrient-dense product that I enjoy trying.

A couple of the multi-vitamins I take is from MegaFood - I received these for free when I attended the ShiftCon conference but was very impressed by this company.

In addition, I am fairly regularly taking Vital Proteins Grass-Fed Beef Liver and an L-Glutamine supplement. I take the L-Glutamine specifically to help with my sore muscles after CrossFit workouts.

Thus far I really trust MegaFood and Vital Proteins and would recommend both of these companies and their supplements to my clients.
